One of four grip cars built by Glaislen(?) and Carey, Dunedin in 1903 for the Mornington Municipal Tramway, to replace the earlier fleet destroyed by fire, and numbered No. 3. It was renumbered 103 when taken over by the Dunedin City Corporation Tramways (DCCT) in 1920s.

It ran until the end of Dunedin cable car operation in 1957.
