THS Collection of Photographs of Christchurch and other centres. Includes

• Heritage Photographs of Trams, Trolley Buses and Omni Buses running in streets in Christchurch and other centres
• Photgraphic records of many ex Christchurch (and other?) Trams after they had been converted to holiday homes etc
• Photographic records of various Tramway vehicles, buses, etc. before, during and after restoration.

Photographs can be made available to THS members under Copyright law, for personal viewing or for research purposes. There are conditions in the event that photos are required for publication. There is an administrative charge payable to the THS Library depending on how much information is required and the media (DVD disc or flashdrive) required to transport the data. Most photos are in .tif format which gives better quality but takes more computer space. The quality of photos cannot be any better than the original and there are some very old photos that are in poor condition to start with.
